So I'm still here, so is Ducking Fabulous... it's been a very busy month, with the 'studio' move... ok, just me moving out of my parents' house and into a flat I'm renting with Julia - we're calling it The Penthouse and spending all our free time making it look pretty :) We also don't have a phone line or internet there yet, so I'm reliant on finding time & a free computer in my lunch hour to squish blogging into!
So my table and sewing machine are set up, I'll be doing the majority of everything from there for now as we don't yet have a dining table, either. Lol! The joys of a new flat. Actually everyone's been very kind and we're overflowing with furniture and kitchen stuff and general goodwill... just struggling with the last boxes of bits now, the kind of stuff you shunt from room to room but that doesn't actually live anywhere!!
My aunt is hosting a charity event next Thursday with some stalls to raise money - I won't be there myself, as I have to work, but I will be providing her with a selection of accessories and donating if they sell :)
Otherwise I'm exhibiting at the library in August and continuing my application for the monthly fair at Hylands - hopefully I'll be accepted but you never know!
