four days of creativity

For the last few days I've been down in Wokingham, staying with one of my best friends who also happens to be a fashion designer. We seem to work better together than alone on admin-y things, so we've set up office in her spare room and are tapping away happily at our computer keyboards (sad, I know...). On the plus side, I've got more done today than in the last month, we have Montezuma's chocolate buttons which are actually the best chocolate buttons in the world, and we're off to drive my car around with the roof down on the way to the printer's shortly. Lol!

Ducking Fabulous is extending its presence online, among today's projects were sorting out the fairly inactive till now Twitter account (@duckingfabulous) and creating a Facebook fan page (Ducking Fabulous by Carla). So now I have to work on getting followers and fans!

Hmm, what lovely photos can I share with you this week? I know, the Christmas-present scarf for Julia I finally finished... I'm quite proud!

Badly lit, but shows the stripes off quite nicely. Here's a better idea of its actual colour, with my label sewn onto the bottom!

 

One is excited! In keeping with the knitting/crochet theme, here's one last photo, of a necklace I made for a dear friend's Valentine present, using the crochet flowers I mentioned in my last post...
